Green Bay Walleye Fishing Is Off to a Fantastic Start

May 12, 2026

Walleye Fishing has opened on Green Bay! We have been underway for a week now and the walleye have not disappointed. A mix of both jigging and trolling techniques have brought fish to the boat. This spring we have seen a good number of larger sized walleye, fish in that 22-28 inch range, mixed in with our typical eater sized fish of 15-21. Of course, there are plenty of fresh water drum to keep the action consistent! The fish remain shallow, so it’s just a very short boat ride to reach prime areas. The next few weeks should remain excellent! Both perch and musky seasons are closed until the end of the month so our focus is on walleye for now.
